Softer than "Can I help you?" — invites without pressure.

US sizes: S/M/L/XL — shoe sizes differ by country.

The classic stockroom line — shows effort.
It's on sale — 20% off.
“On sale” = discounted; “for sale” just means sellable.
Cash or card?
Checkout in two words — add "Would you like a bag?"

Tip: Spanish/Portuguese speakers: "attend" means to go to an event — you help a customer. Say "I'll be right with you", never "I'll attend you".
